Privacy Policy

Atlas Mentorship LLC ("Atlas," "we," "us," or "our") runs Atlas, a place for open live debates. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. You must be at least 13 to use Atlas, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Information you give us: • Your name, email address, and password when you create an account, or your name and email from Google if you sign in that way • The picture and short bio you add to your profile • The opinions you post when you start a debate, and the messages you send in chat • Your voice and video while you are on stage, which are streamed live, recorded, and transcribed • Messages you send to support Information collected automatically: • Our hosting, database, and video providers keep operational logs, which can include your IP address, browser, and the time of a request. We use them for security and troubleshooting. • Cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not build advertising profiles.

We use your information to run Atlas: to create your account, stream debates, keep the queue in order, save replays with their recordings and transcripts, show your profile, send you account emails, keep Atlas safe, and answer your questions. We do not sell your personal information.

Your name, picture, bio, and the replays you appear in are public. Your opinions, your chat messages, and your voice and video while on stage are public as part of the live debate and its replay. Your email address is never shown to other users.

We share information with the providers that run Atlas for us: hosting, database and authentication, live video and recording, transcription, and transactional email. They may only use it to provide those services. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect Atlas and the people who use it. If Atlas is ever acquired, your information may transfer with it, and we will tell you before a different privacy policy applies.

We keep your information while your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your profile and the debates you hosted. Your words in other people's debates stay in their transcripts without your name. Operational logs are kept for a limited time by our providers.

You can change your name, picture, bio, email, and password in Settings, and you can delete your account there too. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to ask for a copy of your information or to have it corrected or deleted. Write to support@joinatlas.live and we will respond within 30 days.

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to return you to the page you came from after signing in. We do not use advertising or cross site tracking cookies. If you block cookies you will not be able to stay signed in.

Atlas is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we will delete it. Parents or guardians of users aged 13 to 17 may contact us to review or delete their child's information.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top and tell registered users by email or with a notice on Atlas.
